Biography
Dr. Michael Serra is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and provides specialized care for traumatic injuries.
Dr. Serra graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey, Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine-Puerto Rico in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He completed residency training in Orthopedics at State University of New York Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Serra received specialized fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He opened his own medical office and practiced privately for 8 years before joining DHR.
