Maria Belen Naranjo, MD

Biography

Dr. Maria Naranjo joins the DHR Health Diabetes and Endocrinology Institute, leading the battle to conquer diabetes in all of its forms through cutting-edge research and innovative approaches to clinical care and education. Dr. Naranjo is board-certified and specializes in adult endocrinology, diabetes type I and type 2, thyroid disorder, osteoporosis, obesity, and metabolism disorders.

Dr. Naranjo earned her medical degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Facultad de Medicina in Ecuador. After completing an internal medicine residency at New York Medical College at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, she attended Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York to complete her fellowship training in endocrinology.
