Cristela Hernandez, MD

Biography

Dr. Cristela Hernandez is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, including the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for expectant mothers and their unborn babies who are at high risk for special health problems.

Dr. Hernandez was born and raised in Edinburg, TX before attending Yale University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. She obtained her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Hernandez completed an internship, residency training, and fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital.
