Biography

Dr. Richard Sanchez is an invasive, non-interventional cardiologist who practices evidence-based medicine to diagnose and treat all major cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, and heart rhythm issues. In addition, he has special interests and skills in non-invasive Cardiology testing such us echocardiography and nuclear medicine as well as in invasive peripheral arterial and venous procedures.

Dr. Sanchez received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida International University located in Miami, FL. He then went on to stay locally in South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University to complete his medical degree. From there he moved on to complete his Internal Medicine residency in WRMC hospital in Palm Beach County, FL. It was there he found his passion in treating cardiac related conditions. Dr. Sanchez decided to pursue a fellowship in general Cardiology with an invasive track in the city of Corpus Christi, TX where he has been living for the past 3 years. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
