Biography
Dr. Washington is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and specializes in enhancing and restoring the functional ability of those with physical impairments caused by injury or disorders.
Utilizing the most advanced technology, Dr. Washington designs comprehensive treatment plans for patients who have musculoskeletal issues causing pain and difficulty sitting, standing, or performing normal daily activities, often caused by injuries such as bone fractures, hip dislocations, spinal deformities, or limited range of motion in a joint. She also offers electrodiagnostic (EMG) services, a test to measure the activity of nerves and muscles, working closely with physicians to evaluate and treat conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated discs, muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and other neuromuscular abnormalities affecting the arms, legs, or face.
Dr. Washington received her medical degree in osteopathic medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, located in Pomona, California. She completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at UT Health San Antonio.
