Biography
Dr. Estevis is a bilingual clinical neuropsychologist who is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Estevis is the only clinical neuropsychologist in the Rio Grande Valley that is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Estevis obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Pan-American. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Estevis completed his clinical psychology internship (clinical neuropsychology track) at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center (Tampa VA) in Tampa, Florida. He then completed his clinical neuropsychology fellowship in the department of neuro-oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. While on fellowship, Dr. Estevis completed rotations within the Texas Medical Center that included Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Methodist Hospital, and the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Estevis currently evaluates patients with a variety of neurological and medical conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries as well as other conditions.
