David Alonzo, MD

Biography

Dr. David G. Alonzo is a fellowship trained surgeon with expertise in the treatment of urologic cancers. He specializes in robotic surgery for prostate, penile, bladder, and kidney cancer. He was previously a clinical instructor of urology at the University of Miami.

Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas - Pan American. He received his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston TX. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He continued his training with a fellowship in surgical urologic oncology at the University of Miami.
