Brian P. Perry, MD

Biography

DHR Health is pleased to announce that Brian P. Perry, M.D., has joined its team of esteemed physicians. Dr. Perry will be seeing both pediatric and adult patients at DHR Health’s Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute. Dr. Perry is board certified in otolaryngology (a medical specialty in ear, nose, and throat) and neurotology (surgery based on parts of the skull and nervous system related to hearing and balance), having amassed over 30 years of experience in this field.

Dr. Perry attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he graduated with honors in 1992. Soon after, he began his residency at Duke University Medical Center in its Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He furthered his medical training at the University of Iowa, where he had a fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Otology-Neurotology Skull Base Surgery. In addition to his role in the private medical sector, Dr. Perry has dedicated himself to educating medical students and physician residents interested in pursuing Ear, Nose, and Throat specialties in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Since 2022, he has served as a Professor of Otolaryngology at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Perry is actively involved in several national professional medical societies and holds appointed positions within them.
