Biography
Dr. Angela Christensen is board certified in both Internal Medicine, and Rheumatology. She has vast experience with autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis, inflammatory myositis, vasculitis, spondyloarthropathies and systemic lupus erythematosus. She is also well versed in the treatment of crystal disease.
Dr. Christensen attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX where she graduated magna cum laude with an undergraduate degree in biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Dr. Christensen completed residency training in internal medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She continued her education with a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of California, San Diego.
