Dr. David Heredia Sierra, an interventional cardiologist, has joined
the DHR Health Heart Institute.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the
University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Heredia completed his
Doctor of Medicine at Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences
(now Ponce Health Sciences University) in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and
served as chief resident of internal medicine at Saint Luke’s Episcopal
Hospital in Ponce.
Using catheter-based treatments, Dr. Heredia diagnoses and treats
patients with coronary artery disease, vascular disease, and acquired
structural heart disease (TAVR, Watchman). He specializes in
peripheral vascular disease and percutaneous pulmonary embolism
thrombectomy.
