Amanda Wright, MD

Biography

DHR Health proudly welcomes Dr. Amanda Wright to the DHR Health Counseling and Psychiatry Center. Dr. Wright is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She specializes in assessing and treating patients seeking short-term medication interventions in order to get them back on track in their daily lives.

Dr. Wright is currently a member of the American Psychiatric Association and received her medical degree and Psychiatry residency training from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her undergraduate education at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. She joins DHR Health, with more than 13 years of experience in Psychiatry and hopes to help adults in the Rio Grande Valley with their mental health concerns.
